DMCA & Copyright Policy

VidMints respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. VidMints is a browser-based creator studio — we do not host a public library of third-party videos, and our downloader is a tool intended for saving content you own or are authorized to use. If you believe that material generated, stored, or processed through VidMints infringes a copyright you own or control, you may send us a notice under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and comparable laws, and we will respond.

Filing a DMCA takedown notice

Send a written notice to our designated copyright agent at legal@vidmints.com (subject line: “DMCA Notice”). To be valid, your notice must include all of the following:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.

2. Identification of the material you say is infringing, with enough detail (such as a URL or account) for us to locate it.

3. Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.

4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

5. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing may expose you to liability for damages.

Our response

We aim to acknowledge complete notices within 72 hours and to act on valid notices promptly — typically by removing or disabling access to the identified material and notifying the affected user. Incomplete notices may delay our response; we may contact you for the missing information.

Filing a counter-notice

If you believe your material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to legal@vidmints.com that includes:

• Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.

• Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.

• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.

• A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the courts in the jurisdiction where VidMints operates, and that you will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice.

• Your physical or electronic signature.

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the removed material in accordance with the DMCA unless the original complainant files a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity.

Repeat infringers

Consistent with the DMCA and our Terms, we will, in appropriate circumstances, suspend or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers.
